Douglas Melamed brings almost three decades of experience in personal injury litigation to the Freidin Brown law firm. His practice focuses on representing plaintiffs in cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death arising out of medical malpractice, birth injury, complex personal injury and wrongful death. Prior to joining Freidin Brown, Douglas was a partner at a state-wide Florida law firm practicing insurance defense trial litigation. Over the course of 28 years, he has litigated a wide range of civil and commercial matters, including claims involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, premises/products liability, dram shop litigation, construction litigation, negligent security, and breach of contract actions.
Douglas has represented hotels, resorts, entertainment venues, shopping centers, product manufacturers, condominiums, medical centers, to name a few.
