Highlights from Daily Business Review’s Florida Legal Awards 2021

JFDBR On the Rise

South Florida’s leading legal newspaper, the Daily Business Review, recently announced the recipients of their annual Florida Legal Awards. We are thrilled to announce that attorney Jonathan E. Freidin has been recognized as a 2021 “On the Rise” honoree, reserved for South Florida’s most promising young attorneys selected through peer nomination. Previously recognized by legal directories such as Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, and AVVO, Jonathan’s acknowledgement by the DBR is an honor of its own caliber.

“This is a huge thrill for me, especially since I’m being recognized for doing work I love, for clients I care about,” said Jonathan Freidin.

Jonathan’s accomplishments in his seven years working as a Freidin Brown, P.A. attorney range from his involvement in the highly publicized trial against rapper 50 Cent, yielding a $7 million jury verdict, to his involvement in recovering over $7 million on behalf of the United States government in a whistleblower case involving Medicare fraud. Jonathan’s practice focuses on medical malpractice, complex personal injury, and whistleblower/qui tam claims. He takes great pride in representing his clients and is recognized throughout the firm for his attention to detail in every case he handles. Beyond all else, Jonathan is a champion of fighting for others who have been injured or wronged and deserve justice. In less than 10 years of practice, Jonathan has helped secure almost $50 Million on behalf of his clients.

On top of his legal work within the firm, Jonathan is also a leader in the community, serving as Chair of the Board of Directors of SAVE, South Florida’s longest-serving LGBTQ advocacy organization. Jonathan is responsible for spearheading the Freidin Brown, P.A. & SAVE Social Justice Scholarship. Through this initiative, the firm has donated $50,000 to LGBTQ students in South Florida studying to make a positive impact on their community as future lawyers, social workers, therapists, and social justice advocates.

Jonathan’s hard work and dedication to his firm, clients, and South Florida community undoubtedly place him on a fast track to a successful legal career with endless accomplishments to come. Congratulations, Jonathan, on this well-deserved honor!
